FACILITIES
Academic facilities is not just education but the overall environment that helps a child grows. At VCS learning with play has been a method and upgradations based on changing technology.
School Library
The junior library will have wide variety of colourful books to attract the young readers and satisfy their curiosity. Care is also taken to furnish the libraries with good and rare reference books. We encourage the students to develop a wide reading habit and a good command of the English language.
Sports
A healthy body promotes a healthy minded. With an aim to ensure every child, a holistic development, VCS takes pride in providing to them, an excellent infrastructure, promoting sports like football, volleyball, basketball, cricket, athletics and skating. The school makes undaunted efforts to provide sports facilities of international standards, exclusively for thrill and excitement of sports competitions, thus enabling the students to grow socially, emotionally and physically.
Extracurricular activities
VCS offers the students an ample of opportunity and chance to explore and enhance his / her potential in the fields such as arts and crafts, instrumental and vocal music, folk and classical dance, western dance, debating, poetry, gardening, yoga and social work.
Personality development
Special focus is taken on value based development of the child personality etiquettes such as ‘You and your home/ You and your society/ You and your country‘. Children are thus expected to develop the right kind of finesse, confidence, and humility to become complete and good human beings.
Bus facility
The School provides the children with an excellent bus facility with GPS technology which has routes that cover all stops at regular intervals. The teachers ensure discipline in the bus and bus drivers and escorts are responsible to drop the children at their stops safely.
Medical facility
A well ventilated, well kept room with beds and basic medical facilities define the health care centre of VCS. We provide regular medical checkup of the student and maintain health card. In various emergencies we provide immediate relief in the form of first-aid by a physician.
Computer lab
Computer education is introduced from class 1 and has 30 computers with a good trainer.
Language lab
VCS has a unique language lab which is used for training students with correct pronunciations of tougher words. Sound knowledge of phonetics helps the child to build spellings independently.
Science lab
Models will be designed to inculcate scientific temper and rational thinking amongst children by making them explore various ideas.
Abacus
VCS introduce abacus as an aid in teaching the numeral system and arithmetic in a simpler way.
Sanskrit
